The Mechanic Falls Historical Society is a group of volunteers who make up a committee for the purpose of planning, collecting and displaying historic memorabilia related to Mechanic Falls and the immediate area.

The newly organized Society meets monthly and is currently planning fundraising activities for the financial support of their program.  They are located at the former Congregational Church at 64 Elm Street, new home of the Anglican Church.

Their mission is to take all the memorabilia that has been store in a cramped room upstairs in the library and bring it our for the public to see
